The component model enables seamless migration of application parts from cloud services all the way down to the smallest micro-controllers in a car. It changes the development landscape by efficient cloud testing of production code or combining multiple languages in the same application. A modification of the lowering and lifting code enables multi-language and modular native components, built from the same source code, fully optimized for one target architecture with negligible performance difference to traditionally developed embedded software.
